Well some of you guys are some pretty serious heavy hitters but here are my lifts...

Bench: 185lbs 3x5 -> Pretty happy about this cause last time I tested my max I only got out 185lbs for a 1RM (we're testing our maxes again next week, I'll post up again)

Squat: 215lbs 3x5 ... last month I maxed out at 225lbs for a 1RM... we'll see what I can do next week)

Deadlift: 125kg 1x5 ... last month I pulled 140kg for a 1RM...hoping for 150kg this time round... I'll let you guys know)

Oh yeah I'm up to 182lbs as of today which is 4lbs heavier then last week.... I think I have some water retention.

Thanks Sentinel. I really appreciate the support. Unfortunately I wont' be doing another max test for a few more weeks cause we've recently moved into a deload phase. So it might end up being the end of Nov before another max test happens. O well, shit happens.

well before i start back out tough these are mines. havent lifted real consistant in like years. didnt have a sufficient gym in college. and near the end i got reactive arthritis from eating some bad chicken. couldnt even walk for a few months. started on my grind like around aug-sept but couldnt really do to much due to massgae therapy school on the side. traveling for work, and of course when i wanted to start this week i got a cold. but now its a go and there is nothing to stop me. so this is what i can do at the moment right now. i dont go to the heaviest weight i can lift because i am big enough as it is. i will try my personal bests in a little to get an idea, but i will put up my best of reps i have tried recently

5'7- somwhere between 280 to 290

bench. 315 x 12

a2g squats 315 x 12

military press 225. i did 7 but it was after my chest day so i should be able to do more.

deads- i have no idea right now. my back wold kill me at massage class. so i will let you guys know next week.

i have done over 400 on the bench squat and deads before. just cant give an exact number for what i can do now

my goal is to drop some weight but get my legs back to where they used to be before i got messed up with the reactive arthritis. so im going to be throwing some gvt in for my legs. due to the arthritis. i havent done really heavy squating because my form wont stay straigth throughout. but from prior experience i know my form will come back with an abundance of reps. oh and sorry for typing so much. im at work and im super bored

Very strong work! Especially on the squats!

Just an FYI. If you really want the secret to getting your leg size increased, I would rather tell you to get that 315 x 12 squat up to 315 x 20! You do that, and I guarantee more results than doing some GVT. That said, if it's still something you want to try, then I'd stick to doing 10 x 10 squats, and absolutely nothing else that day!

yeah i found some success in doing it before when i was like 19. since i got the reactive arthritis i dont have the explosion and proper form i would like for doign heavy squats. so i will do the gvt just so i can get a good amount of volume with some explosion in my reps. i was able to get that explosion in my arms by starting of with sets of 10 push ups. yes just 10. it was that bad.

but a month ago when i was tryin some stuff out for about 3 weeks i felt that explosion and proper form coming back on the heavier sets. i just wasnt able to keep workign on it at the time.

i will start to post my work outs on the personal journal forum next week, so people can critique me. my work out will kind of be all over the place because i have different goals for different areas.

all in all. i have different goals for some body parts and strength wise i want 20 reps with 405 with the squat. and 30 reps with 315 fo the bench. i feel as though i can get to those because the stats i have now is from not working out to much at all. i am hoping i will be able to do power snatches and power cleans in the process. i can only do them with that bar right now. i feel like if i can start to do them with some weight i would have acheived at least some of that explosivness i lost. i will also be doign sprints to aid in the wieght loss and acheiving some explosivness in my compound movements.

oh and with that gvt for my legs i was supersetting with squat goodmornings........would that be over doing it? i didnt feel like i was. but i am open to whatever critisism

Yeah, that's overdoing it lol. If you're going heavy enough, and minimizing your rest between sets of squatting to 90-120 seconds, you shouldn't be able to do much else other than catching your breath.
