i finally hit 250 on bench today, tryed 255 and it nearly caved my chest in. lol. i guess rippetoes is a good program. 5 pounds on my 1RM in what 3.5 weeks. thats pretty good for lately.

ash, nobody here is a pro. all of us have worked very hard to be where we are today. the point to take note of is that we have worked smart AND hard. right now, u are working hard but not smart. u wanna be like one of us "pros" then start training smart.

just got 355 for 1 today on deadlift. i love rippetoes program. about a month and a half ago my max was only 340, and it took me 6 months to get that from 305 last august! all i can say is thanks to eric and everyone else who's helped me out sence i started up here.

Finishing up an HST routine (Old is right before starting the HST)

A2G Squats: 300 x5 - Old: 270 x5
Bench: 340 x5 - Old: 315 x 5
Military Press: 210 x 5 - Old 185 x 5
Incline Bench: 300 x 5 - Old 270 x 5
JS Rows: 305 x 5 - Old 270 x 5

(All are 5rm not 5 sets)


Put on a good 20-25lbs up to 230 now.
