Default Ok, something's gotta give!!

Another night of getting up 4 times to pee!

And I'm usually tossing and turning for at least an hour..

This drinking so much water (and I'm barely managing 4 liters a day) is NOT condusive to a good night's sleep!!

So which is more important?

I heard somewhere that your body will settle out and get used to it..

Is this so?

I've been drinking this increased volume for about 2 weeks, now....

If not, which is more important? Sleep, or hydration?

Thanks!

Just drink when your thirsty dont drink loads for the sake of it.
There was research over here a little while back that suggested that the 8 pints a day was actually unnessecary.

I drink about 1.5 gallons a day. Maybe try to drink more throughout the day and cut after dinner or something like that. Your body should adjust to it...just give it some time.

It's more important to sleep than it is to drink tons of water based on nothing but popular notions.

I'd go with Jonson's advice and drink when your thirsty. Extra around workouts. And a little bit for the road here and there.

Besides, you're probably not drinking JUST water, are you?

All the research anyone ever needs is right here on the forum for anyone who wants to stop BELIEVING something and actually get some facts. It may not convince, everyone, but at least keep an open mind.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

And when you seek forgiveness

I've been cutting myself off around 8pm..

I'll try doing so around say 5pm..

See what happens..

And yes.. Just water, milk with my shakes, and the occasional early afternoon green tea. No juice, except for the water content of any fruits that I eat..
