Default Pain in the neck

I've recently started squatting again but when ever I do them it hurts in the area where the bar rests. I broke a C-7 vertabra in my neck about ten years ago. I've tried putting the bar in different locations but i still have the pain. Any ideas of what i should do?

In my humble opinion you should give up squats. There are plenty of wonderful exercises (not only for legs).

It's a very very dangerous area to mess with. I would speak to a professional about this...preferably more than one. But if this kind of thing persists despite qualified guidance and/or intervention then I have to agree with Pohlevan.

Sorry to be of little help but I wouldn't try to give advice to someone who's had a broken vertebra in their neck. It's just too dangerous and risky..

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Go see a doctor. You do not want to make the problem worse. Good luck.
