Default peak conditions...

Hello everybody,

Great site!!! This is my first post by the way. It's something that I was concerned about and was looking for an appropriate place to discuss the topic...so here I am!

I am a 28 year old male and have been training consistently for about 9 years now and feel great. My question is, when does a male physically peak in terms of training, general testosterone levels and ability to lift without concern of injury assuming that his form is okay? Looking at Ronnie Coleman over 40+ years, he is an absolute idol in terms of being able to take weight lifting beyond adolescent years and remaining fit and young-looking as ever, not to mention strong as hell. I hope to take training well into my 40's and maybe 50's and hope to continually get stronger.

I have heard that men peak in their mid twenties, but my question is why are top bodybuilders and powerlfiters in their 30's and sometimes even older?

The reason why this topic concerns me is because recently I just busted through a two-year plateau with the simple help of a few basic supplements. I have made tremendous gains in the past few months. This led me to believe and constantly say to myself: "If only I discovered these supplements earlier, I could have saved two years of my weight lifting career and continued to grow." I seriously hope to accomplish all of my physical goals without worrying about any age or physical restriction factor.

So when does age really become an issue? Please discuss, any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
