Default Post 5x5 plan

So I just finished up 7 weeks on an intermediate 5x5, in which I posted some incredible gains. I have developed some pain in my wrist (doc says possible stress fracture) and some shoulder soreness during the past 2 weeks. I was thinking about taking a week or 2 off of weight training and doing only interval cardio sessions 3-4 times a week. This should give me some time for my pains to go away.

I am wondering what would be a good plan to get on in a couple weeks once I get back into the weight training? I was thinking a fat loss plan for the summer, but the 5x5 took a toll on me and I don't want to overtrain.

Can anyone offer up some suggestions/examples?

D

I've never had a stress fracture, so I don't know how long that would take to heal.

I think you want to make sure you heal up sufficiently before you go back. You don't want to hurt yourself worse, and be out for a longer period.
