Default Pump

Can someone explain exactly what is happening when a muscle is pumped? Is it a good thing? Is it a sign of overtraining a muscle? Ive heard some pro's saying theres no better feeling!

Cool. Let me know if it didn't clear up all of your questions about it. The pros typically talk about it as being a good thing because they're selling products that are supposed to give a pump. Not because it has any good purpose.

You know....I was thinking: if it weren't for technology and the rapid spread of information and the sheer accessibility of all this knowledge right here on the internet: where would we be? I know I'd still be following Arnold's Encyclopedia which would end up with me just spinning my wheels and in addition to that how would deal with injuries, etc? We're very lucky to have all this info laid out for us.

<yes, I'm in a reflective mood>
