Default Resting Periods ??

Hi all,

Can someone please give me some idea of how much rest I should have between workouts. I lift weights once a day for about an hour doing mostly full body routines ie squats ,bench press, military press and bicep curls etc. at the moment I am doing this monday - friday andhaving the weekend off.
Is this ok or do I need more frequent breaks?
many thanks...Tim
