Is it possible to use DB bench instead of barbell bench?

^^ no....

if you do db bench, it gets MORE difficult to progress....

dont change anything....do the program as its written....rippetoe wasnt an idiot....if he said bb bench, then he must've had a jolly good reason...

best of luck

Anuj

ps: i've done the rippetoe program and its in my old journal (see sig)....its a great program....best of luck

I would keep the Barbell Bench for the simple reason that you can do alot more weight on BB than you can DB.
