Default Skinny Dude

Hi everyone new to this or any other forum. 28yo male, 5'9" 140lbs, 6% body fat.

I've been reading alot of articles about naturally thin people putting on mass but I'm having an insanely disappointing start.

Last week I ate between 3,500-3,950 calories and running 2 days a week and lifting 3 days. Here's what I figured:
1,950 calories used just by subsisting
450 calories avg/day for 45 minute workout
300 calories from a crazy metabolism
That totals 2,700 calories needed a day. For almost two weeks by this math I had a 1,000 calorie surplus daily yet I am STILL down 2lbs from two weeks ago.

How is this possible? Is it that I am burning fat? Anyone ever heard of someone's metabolism being this fast? I appreciate any advice ahead of time!

You may want to cut back on your cardio and do full body workouts.

1. perhaps you would like to try 3 times a week Single Set Full Body workout that consist of only Compound Exercises.

Squats
Lunges
Bench Press
Wide Grip Lat Push-down
One Arm Dumbbell Row
Shoulder Press
Air Bike

2. Cut down on Cardio (2 times a week on non training days)

3. go to w w w . gain - weight - muscle - fast . c o m

good luck

I think you actually burn calories after you finish running - I saw a BBC documentary so I'm assuming there was scientific evidence. You might have been burning much more than usual throughout the day
