Default Starting a cut

I'm going to start a cut in the next few days or else next month. I figure i'll try low calories (aprx 1500) and low carbs. Mixed in with cardio about every other day.

Does anyone have any tips/info they can share that will get me pointed in the right direction or how you do it?

i'm wondering how to keep lifting weights during this, lots of reps + light weight correct?

how much do you weigh? 1500 is probably way too low.

2000 is much better but may even be a bit low still.
