Thanks for the comments, Wolf..

I do do higher reps on my ancillary excersizes, like push-ups, hanging chair raises, etc..

As for eating, I'm not HURTING anything by keeping it at 2700-2900, am I?

I'm still keeping the protein at around 260..

Yeah, you did..

But if nobody listened to Aristotle because all that "the World is round" stuff was confusing.. LOL

j/k

I'm just trying to learn as much as I can about all aspects of the sport..

Doesn't mean I'll change anything till it needs changing, or that I won't re-read the Starting Strength book..

If you want to lose weight buy Leigh Peele's Fat Loss Troubleshooter.
Cool, I'll check it out..

Hope I can do something about it via my diet, as that running 3 miles on my off days was kicking my ass!!

Think I'll stick to just LIGHT cardio (3 mile walks, 10 min runs before and after WO).

Buy the book with the link in my sig. It has everything you'll need. If you don't use the link in my sig you will be banned (j/k...but use the link in my sig, seriously.)

Regarding re-reading SS...don't. I fucking hate that book. Stop worrying about your training. I get that you're passionate about this. Good. But it's time to focus your passion on results.

Get your training in order (step one is to stop doing routines and to actually start training) and read Leigh's FLT because it's fucking awesome and has helped me lose 8 lbs in Month 1...speaking of which I need to do a weigh in soon!

Good stuff, dude. I think my training has recently been somewhat on a better level because of my diet changes. And the best thing about Leigh's book is that it's not about a crash diet or a quick fix. It's about adhering to certain eating principles which are an art of life in a way - I can still go out, party, etc but if I am conscious of what I eat, I am able to lose weight. I am the last person on this planet who can adhere to any diet. Yet, just by adopting her principles I was able to lose 8 lbs in month 1. I bet you could lose more because you seem a LOT more focussed than I am on eating. I hope the diet does you some good, sir

Well! my advice to you is:
If u wanna gain volume; then u gotta do 3sets 8reps each with heavy weight and slowly.
If u wanna gain strength; u gotta do 3sets 10-12reps each with medium weight and not so fast and not so slow(between).
For any more info .. i am available !

"If you wanna gain volume" what does this mean?

Also how strong has doing 3 sets of 10-12 reps got you?
