Question still a bit confused, i need some answers

My first post, so I say hello to all reading. I'm a 27 yo which got used to bad junk diet for a long time but never got fat, 150lbs at 6'10", and allot of beer everyday. Two weeks ago I joined the gym and I want to change my lifestyle, I'm not only after muscle growth. And I was thinking this was supposed to be easy. Until now I went 5/7 times to the gym, but i feel this may be too much keeping in mind that I do physical effort an work everyday, 5/7.
So my first question is How many times a week you recommend me to work out and how long a break for a specific muscle after exercise(1-2-3 days)?
So I try to change my diet, its a good start and everything works ok until now, but I simply just can't eat enough food for my necessary of calories intake 2800kcal+. I'll start taking proteins in 5-10 days, but in terms of food, What should I do or what should I eat to meet my calories+? but keeping in mind that I find it hard to accomplish in my situation, eating 6-7 times a day.

Just this for now, but I'll be back with more if i get good feedback. If you have any question, just fire up!

thanks for being here
