not professionally... mostly just training with friends.. I've done point sparring back in the day.... I miss getting down and dirty. I'm going to see two schools this weekend. one's a MMA specific school that is a little far and the other is strait up Brazilian Jujitsu that is right next to where I work... the only thing deterring me from the BJJ place is it might not practice for MMA.. which is what I'm looking for..

There you go. You have to train specifically. That's the most important thing. Anything that gets in the way of that is going to become a detriment.

The above all sounds good. Also, I would recommend to lift explosively. More than usual. You can also look for ways to incorporate speed and power training into more specific martial arts type training.

But training for the actual events has got to be the most important thing.
