Talking sup fellow lifters?

Hey Guys I'm A Newbie Here But Have Been Lifting On And Off For About 8 Years Now. I Do Quite A Bit Of Reading On Routines And All And For The Past Year Ive Been Stumped On How To Workout. I Just Recently Read A Book By Author Jones And He Preaches High Intensity Working Out All Muscle Groups In One Workout And No Split Routines. I've Tried This But It Just Doesn't Feel Right. I've Noticed You Can Go A Whole Workout And Not Touch Your Legs Until The End And Not Do Half As Much As You Would Normally Do If You Would Have Started With Your Legs And Likewise By The Time You Get To Your Arms. Guess What. Same Effect. I Feel I Can Train My Muscle Better On Split Routines. Why Does The Body Get Tired And Affect Muscles That Haven't Even Been Trained Yet Anyway? You Know How You Can Get That Shaky Weak Feeling Through Out Your Body. I've Noticed Leg Presses Can Do This To Ya Instantly If You Push Yourself Hard With Lots Of Negatives. Does Anyone Have Any Input?

I personally wouldnt bother with that type of workout unless your trying to completely depleat glycogen stores for dieting purposes. It is not benificial IMO to strength or size gains.

What are your goals, what are you trying to accoplish?

I also don't recommend it either. Volume and frequency isn't always a good thing. If you want maximum intensity training, then full body workouts aren't a wise thing to do. Why not do one muscle group per day and hit it as hard as you can for 9 or 10 sets? That's what I do, see my Max-OT Journal. I've been increasing ALOT every workout...

I used to do that when I was a novice, now if I try to do a whole body workout, I will die.

It would work if you were to train using the HST training program. Search it on the web and it'll take you to it's home page. It's kinda complex, dealing with 15, 10, and 5 rep max sets. You do 2 sets per exercise, hitting the whole body three times in a week. I might try that after I'm done with my Max-OT training because it's a totally different thing.

Hell yes, that's what makes a total bodybuilder. I'm up for hst during my two week break from max-ot. Either that or my next evolution will be the ovt training. I'm trying to see what works and what is bullshit on my own instead of listening to spam. ;)
