Default Supplement advice

Hey guys. Here's the deal: I'm 155 and have been out of the gym for a few years. I have a bet with my buddy for who can get to 180 first. What supplements do you guys recommend? I'm out of the loop about good stuff.

Does it matter if you gain fat or muscle?

If it doesn't matter just EAT. As much as you can, all day. The weight will come on quick. lol

Haha I wish it could be all fat and I would just grub all day. But it does have to be majority muscle, and I'm looking to get big anyway.

Creatine monohydrate would be my first recommendation--that will put a few pounds on you very quickly.

Other than that you may want some some protein powder, a multivitamin, an fish oil--and lots of FOOD. But other than creatine mono there's not really a supplement that will put weight on you. It's all a matter of training correctly and eating enough food.

@kevsworld: Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. Any brands that you like or recommend?

I like Prolab Creatine Monohydrate, but any reputable brand with creapure will do. Stay away from "buffered" creatine formulas--waste of money. Buy creatine mono in bulk to save money.
