Talking THANK YOU SIRS.... (that includes a few ladies too)...

Hey Everybody... I'm a noobie... I have a lot of f'd up experience... but everything I know is wrong. I'm a poster-child for why you should never listen to "that guy" in the gym. My entire workout history consisted of overtraining, undereating and not getting enough rest. So... I've erased everything I thought I knew and started from scratch. I've been doing Bill Starr 5x5 with a lot of sucess. I'm lifting heavier poundage than ever before and even managed to cut a lot of fat... and I owe that to the knowledge and experience of Darkhorse, Eric3237, Wolf, DrX, Kane and Monstaface just to name a few.

When I first checked out this site, I thought "OK, it's just another forum." Well... boy was I wrong. This forum is amazing... and it blows away the others, (I won't call them out). The posts you fellas (and a few ladies) make are well thought out and backed by solid fact, personal experience and detailed & qualified references. And... if "crap" is ever posted for advice, you call them on it and send everybody in the right direction.

I spend an hour or two, every day, researching the posts and stickies ... and the more I learn... the more I realize how much there is to learn. This sight is like getting a degree in everything from basic weight training, all the way to post-graduate Exercise Science, Nutrition and Physiology.... (well, almost).

Anyway... this is just a long winded THANK YOU for all your efforts and generosity in sharing your knowledge with a dumbass like me!
