Default Timing

I usually wake up at around 3-4 AM, and go workout on an empty stomach.

Is that bad for muscle growth or something?

it could not be good for your back...if you immediately go work out after you wake up...as your discs are full of fluid...and take some time to shrink back down. i'd much rather have some fuel in me.

I think your body would perform much better with one or two solid meals in you.

so my internet works again ;)
as the guys already said, it´s better to have at least one good meal before working out. but if you´re unable to achive that, have a shake of 2cups of coffe, 5-10g bcaa, 30g whey before your workout.
