Default I need some tips for squatting

I usually squat w/ a closer gap between my legs, i have tried squatting with a wider stance but i don't quite have the flexibility, how can i get that flexibility because i know that wide stance squatting works more muscles.

Stand with your legs as if you were going to do a squat with a wide stance. Squat down as far as you can. Then grab a 45lb weight and cross your arms over it and squat down again. Eventually you should be able to do it. Also, try using a leg press machine with a wide leg spread. It will also increase flexability.

try some lunges.. front, back and mostly side. this could also help with getting use to standing wider, especially with doing side lunges.. also how often do you stretch your legs out

Practice with a lighter weight. Just the bar if necessary.

agreed. much better to work on proper form than to do it wrong for years and years on end while never making any serious progress in size OR strength. you may have to drop the weights substantially while you get your form down pat, but once you do you'll be blowing past your current PR's with ease
