Default Training advice to gain weight

Hi Guys (and gals),
I need your advice on a training method. How to gain maximum weight in ten weeks, by Gary Matthews.
http://www.maxfitweightgain.com/
He advice that twice a week, 20-30 mins per session, you can gain weight, about 14pnds in 10 weeks. If you read what he puts in his web site, it makes some sense (Other then supercompensation occurs after 36 hrs and not 5 days), but it sounds too good to be true. I would use some of his principles and modify it to something like this:

-30 mins for a session of training(short, high intensity weight training sessions)
-3 times a week (full body, 3 times a week)
-4 sets (to failure) per body parts (2 different exercise) for major muscle groups(chest, legs, back)
-2 sets (to failure also) for smaller muscle groups (Biceps, Triceps, Shoulders)
-Only compound exercises.
-and a good diet to bulk!

Please give me your advice, point of view on this matter.

Thanks
