Default Training sore muscles

I couldn't find anything in search, but would this be bad? After my two week gym separation yesterday's workout is, uh, making itself known. If muscles are still sore tomorrow is it alright to lift anyway?

as long as it is just mild soreness, and not an actually injury, yes it is fine to train tomorrow.

I find a couple of days after a workout, when my muscles are still sore that on the first warmup set with a light weight they feel sore but after a couple more warm ups with heavier weights the soreness goes, on the heavy working set I dont feel sore at all, the soreness does usually return the next day though.

Ditto to what hrdgain said...if your hitting the same muscles tomorrow just ease into it and maybe do some extra warmups.

The trick is not to take extended absences from the gym so these type of things don't happen....
