You've got the bare essentials for exercises..
My advice is to worry about what your muscles look like after you put in some serious time under the bar. Being a novice, strength training for you (4-6 reps) IS hypertrophy training. What I mean is that if you stick to only compounds, focusing on increasing the weight on exercises like the squat, bench, and deadlift every week I guarantee you'll have bigger arms after a year. If you're being progressive with exercises like bench press, dips, ect, sooner or later your triceps will have to adapt and grow. Strength and mass gains are almost never linnear, but over the general course of time, you'll grow.
What's your routine look like?
