and im not saying that the chest is not one muscle because it is...but you can do differnt movements to stimulate the fibers more in one area than another

http://www.bodybuilders.com/raley.htm

he isnt even such a big pro. he's over 40 to begin with and his workout program sucks. not to mention his supplement stack is awesome as hell.

you're referencing someone who cannot be compared or taken as an example of.

read some of your other posts. you have a major attitude.

I'm not sure what your trying to say here, but that dude, regardless of what his routine is listed as on bb.com, or what suppliments he uses, looks awesome, especially for 40+.

Now should you do incline with an ez-curl bar to build your upper chest ... I wouldnt, doesnt make sense to me, and nothing I've read or done supports the theory.

but even after being called out, and called a liar, Gymrat seems to have kept his cool, and not taken this to a personal level. I think learning needs to take place on all sides on this one.

I made the same mistake a couple of weeks ago. Someone asked on a thread how to work the center of their chest, I suggested butterflys. Needless to say Eric and Sleazy set me straight.

If you go into the gym and watch other people you can see that they have been subjected to the myth. They continously hit the straight, decline, and incline bench. If you read heath magazines, full of BS by the way, you find the same thing. People hear this so much they think its just a bodybuilding must.

I'm going to agree with that. At least a the gym I go to, people that work out with proper form and good solid programs are few and far between. I can see how its easy to get misled.

Rat boy,

when you tell a guy who weights 155 lbs @ 5'6 to do ez bar incline press to help his chest to grow, it simply means that you have the knowledge but you lack an understanding of who needs to be doing that and who doesnt. @ 155 lbs he doesnt need to be doing any specialized chest work.

you're whole argument is thus flawed.
