Default strength training program

Hello,

Can anyone help me out with choosing a workout program that can make me stronger rather than build muscle mass and volume. I was interested in trying the 5x5 but are there better strength programs out there?

Thank you

5x5 is nowhere near a strength program.

5x5 is a middle ground strength/size program. Not to bash it but just so you have some background info.
