Default When did you see it was worth it.

I have been training for asbout 9 months now, and it seems like everyone can see it but me.

I can see some difference, and I am a hell of a lot stronger, but it was not what I was expecting as I get closer to a year of training.

What I want to know is how long was it before you looked in the mirror and said hell yes, that's why I'm doing this?

I would have to say I first saw the results I wanted after about a year, year and a half of training hard. Back then I did not know as much and did not have the resources available (this site) to get help. But, I eventually learned (trial and error) and like you got a lot stronger first before seeing results in the mirror. Don't get discouraged you will eventually get what you want provided you stick with it. Good luck.

Everyone is different. It seems that a person is always harder on themselfs than everyone else. But, you said it yourself, your stronger than before (plus everyone else see's a difference) so you know it's working. It might just be something as easier as tunning in your diet. Once you nail that, then YOU will start to see it for yourself.

For me, it was after only a few months of training. But I started off 60lbs over wieght, and weak as hell. So dropping 40lbs and increasing my strength by 25% in 4 months was dramatic, and fairly easy. It depends on what you have to work with really. If you have a high metabolism and are trying to pack on lean body mass then it may take a year or more to really see a difference in the mirror.

If it's something you're really into, like mentioned before, you'll always be harder on yourself... If everyone else is seeing results keep it up man.. If you're like me no matter how much you change you'll keep finding something else you want to work on.. Good luck man hope you achieve what you're after...
