Hey 0311, ok I'm in wheelchair now, I work my legs every day, and I have a set schedule for my upper body. I am 6'1 250 lbs. would I stop getting bigger because I use my upper body a lot, if so how can I stop that from happening. You're probably wondering how can I work my legs, well I have a muscle stimulator and my cardio is a bike when I move my arms it moves the legs, and I have gotten much improvement from it. Any ways I'm trying to become a wheelchair bodybuilder, check it out, its pretty intense, what should I do if my arms don't get past 20", which is where they're at right now

One i'm having trouble with is #2. Is this to say that my bicep curls will be deemed useless in a few weeks? If so, how do i target my bi's????

I agree !!!

I agree with 0311s posts but just want to add my 2 cents worth. I use to train in all kinds of gyms from college gyms, military overseas gyms, Golds and Worlds gyms, LA Fitness gyms, Larry Pacificos Gym, you name the style of Ive walked the mile.
Their is a few trains of thought that come to mind. Most of the folks in the gyms come in with good intentions but soon succom to the fact that they are just not that interested in it. They see initial gains and as the years pass by and the gains get less and less, they just sort of drift away be it family obligations or what ever.
What I am droning on about is DESIRE AND A VISION. No matter what, you have got to have desire. I have completely torn my tricep and I have pulled and strained about every muscle in my sad body. But,... either I am just plain nuts or its something I cant explain, I still get that little child excitment evertime a grap ahold of a bar and start pumping reps. When I see those black and white photos of pros like Dorian Yates or Ron Coleman I can actualy feel my mind trying to visualize doing that movment.
THAT is what its all about, cut BS and all the hoo haw.
It just plain doesnt matter if you aere just training to feel bette about yourself or training for the MR O if you dont have DESIRE and a VISION then forget it.
GOOD LUCK

And I agree with you sleeper....nothing can be achieved without a clear vision!

Most people fail because of broken focus!

 5) Training to near muscular failure has shown to induce identical hypertrophy gains than training to all out muscular failure.
so is one set to failure enough to create muscle growth.

on number four you say to train a muscle more than once to stimulate the muscle even more...

4) Training a bodypart once per week (and one bodypart per day) is one of the worst ways to train. It will create a rut in your training that you can’t dig o
ut of...and then on five you say that if you train muscle more than once w week your not letting it heal and get stronger.....i dont figure

i think you should read number five again. so you can "figure" it out.
