HS's post football lifting
now that football's done for me its time to start hitting the weights again. my goals are simple, get as big and strong (at the same time) as i can, aswell as get down to wearing 36's full time BW isn't an issue for me just waist size and strength. its my first day back and i was just seeing what i could still do.
bench 185x10 195x5 205x5 210x4 215x4 (maybe i cant bench 260 anymore) hex bar deadlift 295x5 335x5 355x5 385x1 (straps) almost got 425x1 (straps) didn't do anything else, ill probably do rows and squat on friday and figure out my real routine this weekend. although i like a 5x5 because its so simple. i may do something like wolf's because ericT told me it may be a good idea. |
this morning weighted in at 205 (-3 from 11/01)
here are mondays numbers bench: 5x5 at 185 squat: 5x5 at 265 dips: 3x8 pull-ups: 2.5 2 2 1 and yesterdays lift military press: 5x5 at 125 rows: 5x5 at 125 w/ really good form hang cleans: 3x3 at 175 squat: 1x5 at 265 (then weightroom closed so i couldn't finish) i think im going to have to do squats first off so i have the energy for it because when i finally got to it yesterday it was MUCH harder then monday. even for that one set. |

thanks, haven't been lifting as often (only 2 days a week) because of a girl, but now that im done with her ( cheater, and to much drama) ill be back in more. maxed on friday because the football team was doing it. bench is up to 5x5 at 205. finally ramping my squat though (5x5 starting at 235 tomorrow) and up to 3.75 pull ups. my arms have grown .5 inch (14.75 flexed) and my chest a full 2 (44 flexed). my diet isn't great and im not doing any cardio, but im getting lighter and stronger so im not to worried.
