Something Completely Differant
So I'm 16 and have been training for about a yr...and the supps. i've been on prolly arent the greatest thing for a 16 yr old to be doing... thermogenics, test boosters...i'm taking a whole diffearnt approach to wut im taking now...i wanna be as healthy as i can and keep away from the "synthetic" shit...tell me wut u think
1) 100% whey 2) Green tea extract 3) Flaxseed oil 4) Glutamine 5) Multi-Vitamin |
I'm glad, sdt. Looks good. No creatine?
|
not as of now...isn't there talk of water retention from creatine which would counter act my goal of getting more defined?
|
I like 100% whey

Also keep in mind that some people who complain of water retention while on creatine may be experiencing water gains because of their dietary practices at that time, especially since you will be drinking a lot of water while on it. I forgot to say, see the Creatine FAQ in the supplement articles section. |
If you are 16, you definitely do NOT need testosterone boosters unless there is something significantly wrong with you. Your hormones are raging, you probably have test pouring out of your, well, pores.
Why glutamine? |
i've heard glutamine really helps with muscle repair/recovery so i figured i'd give it a try

The serving size for glutamine has to be on the high end. At least that's what research indicates. Ten grams postworkout and another ten grams at bedtime is recommended. At that dosage, that kilo should last about 50 or so days. |
thanx 0311...any recomendations u can make for me...my goals are to lean up and get more cut up or defined however u wanna say it.
|
I'd say to do some simple carb cycling like what I posted in the nutrition forum. After you get a solid dietary foundation set up, then I'd go ahead and start making supplement recommendations.
