| I believe everyone needs goals to keep them motivated. I'm interested to know what others' goals are and what you plan to do to achieve them. My goal is to be in the best shape of my life on July 1, 2005. I'm going to be in my youngest brother's wedding in OC, California. It's going to be kind of a high-school reunion as alot of buddies I haven't seen in a long time will be there. And of course I want to be in top-notch shape sporting a six-pack with some decent muscle all over. I've got my training down, my cycles mapped out and my diet pretty well covered. The diet can always be improved, though. I know I have to be in the single-digit BF level to see my abs. I'm sort of guesstimating that I need to lose about 20 pounds from where I'm at to hit that. Fitday.com says I need to lose about 1.20 pounds a week to reach my deadline. I'm currently @177.5. I've been considering doing the UD2, which is Lyle McDonald's (creator of CKD) latest diet plan. But it seems pretty painful but I know I'm going to have to bite the bullet one of these days and just tough it out and do it. I'm wondering if anyone out there has tried the UD2? |

Gender: | My goal is to cut for the next few months until the end of may using the CKD diet and following Mr. X's CKD Journal calculations. I've been training pretty hard over the past year and have definately gained some size, so now its time to show it off on the beach. I want to drop at least 20 lbs during this time so I'm going to have to be pretty strict. Gonna be hard skipping the carbs, but it should be worth it in the end. | Moderator Rank: Light Heavyweight Experience: 7-10 Years | Size is all I care about. If I was to enter a contest, then I'd cut. I just don't like that word. I don't have that much bodyfat or else I'd consider it I guess. I also want to hit the 400 club benching. So close I can almost taste it. Such a tease. |

| Rank: Member | My goal right now is to get to single digit bodyfat. I can see my blurry abs under a thin coat of fat. I'm already a good size for my height 5'7 205lbs, but I would like to get to single bodyfat digits at 205lbs. Maybe go up to 210-215 and be lean, that is what I'm striving for. I got some serious cycles planned out right now, for the rest of the year. I just got my labs back and I was given a clean bill of health! Good luck to you all! |

| I would like to be more cut, and show more muscle definition. I've started by using less weight, and higher reps. Usually 10-12 reps instead of 6-8. The hardest part is the diet. |

| I'm tired of being the bean pole and want to add mass if I have to gain some body fat to do it thats ok. mabe close to summer I would try to cut the body fat down for the six pack ( aka ladies favorite). but for now I'm just dieing for some big guns, with the shoulders and lats to match. |

| Taurus, check out the CKD. It's definitely one the few diets that will do what you are seeking. It burns fat and builds or retains muscle at the same time. I'd always lose the blubber first. Once I get over 20% bodyfat, it's hard to tell if I'm a lifter anymore because I have no shape, separation, veins, v-shape, etc., I'm just a big guy that looks embarrasing with my shirt off. |
