Default What's your split?

What kind of split is everyone running?

Mine's a three day full body split (5x5). Just wondering because I'm bored.

Darkhorse's Sig:My Training Philosophy

how big would you be if ALL you did was:

Squat 400 x 20
Deadlift 500 x 5
Bench 315 x 5, or dip with 100 lbs added.
Chin with 75 lbs strapped to your waist x 5
Miltary Press 225 x 8

Pretty ****ing big is my guess. Without any "rear delt work".

OK, right now 3 day full body, HST. On 5 rep ssets now. Sice you are bored.... develop my next program.

My choices, in no particular order.

1. 9 week WSB. I did a 9 week Westside for Skinny bastards as my previous WO, it has a different type of day for the DE day. This is more of a WSB template, and I would include some GPP. http://www.elitefts.com/documents/9w...ng-program.htm

2. POWER/REP RANGE/SHOCK Training http://www.ironbodybuilding.com/foru...showtopic=8566

3. Bill stars 5x5, My head hurts from reading. Look like a good plan, with a good amount of planning. http://elitefitness.com/forum/showt...t=375215&page=1

4. Optimized Volume Training OVT
http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=459276

5. DC, eating proper

4 days I do what ever I want that day.
One more week and I'm on vacation and then I will start a new routine. Just haven't defined it quite yet. I will take any suggestions. Might make for a interesting thread.

3 days a week DC. I think I copied most of your old routine 0311, if I remember right. I'm still amazed at how well doing only 1 working set actually makes me more sore than the old 3 set routine. And I love the fact that if it takes me more than 45 minutes, I must be screwing around. That extreme stretching is a killer though.

4 day split M,T,W,R,F:

Chest/Delts, Back, Off, Legs, Arms/Traps

do cardio M,T,W,F.

i've experimented and although this doesnt' maximize growth for me, it maximizes motivation. im no longer trying to get as big as possible, and with working full time i just dont' have the same energy i did to pursue BB as i did in college... i feel this is a good trade off for what i want to accomplish these days
