Pitysister 12-22-2008 11:01 AM

olympics are usually 45 pounds.

when i gave a shit about curls...i put my curl bar on a scale....held it upright...:)

So when your lifting do you count the weight of the bar?? Or just the weights on the bar?

Pitysister 12-22-2008 11:11 AM

count the bar too....although maybe across the pound....the bar weight disappears when you lift it :)

iron_worker 12-22-2008 11:26 AM

Well I was thinking a the curl bars are generally the smaller ones. I always assumed they were 20lb. The full size olympic bars are 20kg/45lb.
