John Madden has nothing to do with the game other than recording his voice for the game. EA Sports is broken up into sections that each work on a different piece of the game. One for graphics, one for ratings, another for sound, so on and so forth. I remember seeing a special on ESPN about this game. Eddie George conducted all the interviews with the EA staff. If this letter is real, it really makes the writer look like a douche addressing it to Madden...It's like he personally thinks the videogame crew sits down with John Madden and tells them what he thinks their ratings should be.
