Definitely focus on your big lifts, as has been posted allready, like your pressing and pulling movements. Squats and deadlifts cannot be stressed enough.

Flyes are not necessary, pec deck is not necessary, concentration curls are not necessary. Forget the preacher curls and leg extensions. Nevermind the cable crossovers; it makes a great picture on the cover of a magazine, but it's not the most productive exercise for your chest. Throw this stuff out.

What this leaves are the complex lifts, and the basic lifts. The exercises that have the biggest effect on the body as a whole.

I did a workout one time where there weren't even curls, or tricep exercises. You don't have to take it quite that far but it shows you how important the big lifts are. You will be working your triceps and biceps doing the big lifts.

Please note the following. Be careful of advice from some of these bodybuilders out there. Some of these guys could grow now matter how they lift. Just because a guy is huge doesn't mean he knows what is best for you.

Your best advice would probably come from somebody who is similar to you, and got great results off of, lets say, program "X."

Get big man,

Troy
