Thumbs up New Member Sleeper says hello to the crew

Hello Everyone
I love to exchange new information on anything that involves weight training. I am 42 years old. I am originaly from Vincennes Indiana. I spent 12 years in the Air Force. I was a correctional officer for the state if Indiana for 5 years, a correctional officer for the Feds for 2 and have been working for the Feds as an inmate accounts clerk for 5. I started hitting the weights back in high school in 1980. I started out just trying to put on a little size and the passion is still growing strong. My favorite area to train in triceps and legs.
Stats;
5'11''
270lbs
38'' waist
Im not sure what my chest back is.
I love to hit my hams first then stoke up on squats usually
I peak at 545 for a nice set of 6.
I love bent rows usually hitting 355 for 5
My goal is to just keep training as long as I can, gain a little and enjoy the
gym experiance.

My favorite old timer is the Blond Bomber Dave Draper.

I think lifting is a processing of continually learning new ideas and sensations.

Glad to be on board!

Sorry folks,
I ment to say I hit the squat at a peak wieght of 545 for 6. I always try to get as low as possible.
I was hitting 6 45s and a 35 on the smith incline but I backed off about 20lbs so normally I stay with the quarters and 45s.
WhenI first started I used nothing but free wieghts (basicaly because thats all I had.) But, because allot of people are not the greatest spotters I use the Smith Machine for my incline presses and military presses.
Later Days

Perhaps someday you'll live up to our expectations. You want to learn, yet shoot anything that moves or anything that's not a 5 day bodybuilder split. tsk tsk...
