I am working on doing 220-250 grams of protein a day, but I don't see how I can eat that many yet. I don't have money yet to buy the protein drinks yet.

What do you guys do on amount you eat, and drink in protein drinks?

Tuna Day! get the big cans of tuna each serving is like 19grams or so get 2 of them double up on servings so you get around 40 grams and eat that 5 times a day and that will put you pretty close to 200 drinking 2 glasses or so of milk two will put you up to 220.

sdf nailed it. Eggs by the master case, tuna, meats. I get 60-100g just from pre/post workout shakes. Tho, I don't buy any shakes, I make mine from bulk powders. Down the line you can buy sacs of protein from 3-9 bucks a pound.

An easy way to add in protein... add another meal. Add slowly and you will get there.

I eat from 5-7 times per day, depending on wha type of day it is, and what foods are in the fridge. each meel will range from 250-600 cals, so its kinda like snacking all day, which is easy for my situation. desk job.

That's a LOT of tuna.

Chicken breasts are good, too. I go to Costco and buy a big tray. I get like 14 decent sized ones for around $12-13, less than a buck a piece. I think each one has about 30g of protein.

What I do is I take about an hour and cook them all on my George Foreman Grill and put all the pieces into zip-locks (2 apiece) and put 'em in the fridge. Chicken is good cold, or you could just reheat it.

I eat the chicken on a sandwich, cut it up in a salad, have a couple pieces w/ some white rice and spaghetti sauce, throw it in a wrap w/ some dressing. Tons of stuff to do w/ chicken breast, and they are cheap too.
