Default Does anybody know????

Does anybody have any kind of idea how much is too much protein at a single serving. I myself try to get all the protein I can in 6 meals while keeping the carbs down, (I'm trying to cut), but I have been told that too much protein will store as fat, and to try and not go above 30 or so grams in a single serving. Doing the math that's only 180. So, I am assuming you can have more. Somebody let me in.

im no nutrionist but i read in arnold's bio from the 70s and he said the body can absorb 40-60gms based on the individual. i try to get 50-60 because then i know that i am getting the max amount that my body can handle. I am pretty sure that 30 is not near the max you can use. So just shoot for 50-60 when your eating one of your meals that you consider high in protein and get 20-30 in your others. That is just my suggestion and im sure that you will get plenty of other replys today. As far as storing as fat......im not sure but i dont think it will store as fat.

Well, generally, you would try to get 1 to 1.5 grams of protein for every pound of bodyweight per DAY. So if you eat about 6 small meals a day, divide that number by 6. That's a simple way to do it.
