I struggle with this. I am 23 years old and have been drinking 2-3 cups a day since I was 17. I have a lot of extra body fat on my 5 foot 9, 163 pound frame, and I attribute most of this to not having an appetite in the morning. It is very hard for me to eat breakfast in the morning after or while drinking my coffee, so in the past I often times would simply not eat breakfast. I simply have NO appetite when I wake up and I credit a lot of it to the coffee.
Over the last 2 weeks, I've been taking in my breakfast first and a glass of water (or 2) and THEN drinking my coffee about 30 minutes after and I feel a LOT better throughout the day. It worked for me, if you run in to any of my problems or similar ones hopefully you can try what I did. |

I am a great lover of coffee but i drink only a cup of coffee in a day because it is not good to drink too much coffee in a day because it has some side effects so we should drink it but not too much.

Yes i agree with Rose that excess of everything is bad and too much coffee is also not good for health so i prefer to take one cup of coffee per day is enough.

i dont think it can have any adverse effects, 1-3 cups of coffee a day sounds normal

2-3 cups a day is 100% fine as long as you aren't sensitive to caffeine (and you probably aren't if you are drinking that much). Some studies even show health benefits, such as reduced cancer risks, etc. Caffeine is also really good for reducing appetite and burning fat.

A cup of coffee is also good (for an extra push) an hour before lifting. However, if you drink it throughout the day, you won't reap that benefit.

Hope not I drink more than three cups! I do like a cup before I work out helps to get me going.
