Absolutely!!! You should have protein shakes everyday! Whey in the morning is important to feed those hungry muscles fast after a long 8 hours of fasting and through the day in between your whole food meals you should down protein shakes to keep your protein intake high high high! 1.5 grams per pound of body weight or even a little more on training days!
