If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

Somebody elsewhere actually made the point that such a gain would be a real feat even if it were bodyweight in general mostly in the form of fat. The caloric surplus would be gargantuan.

But I'll tell you what I hate more than the liars misleading people with this BS. It's the apologists who take the attitude well, it's still impressive even if they didn't do it in 4 weeks, or whatever.

Don't frigging apologize for people trying to sell false dreams to people based on blatant emotional manupulation. It ain't cool.

^^^ Those were my two most pronounced impressions after skimming over that and then reading some of the comments at the bottom.

You should check out my plan instead. I gained 17lbs in 2 weeks...not as absurd as that other guy. ;-)

The Ben and Jerry's diet is much more efficient.

Yeah, that set me off too, Ross. If you in the fitness "industry" you should be more pissed off than anyone. It's like Ford claiming their cars can run on water. It's that blatant. Only in "fitness" can you get away with such.

Fightin words!

How can it be more efficient than...

swiss cake rolls
star crunch
nutty bars
oatmeal creme pies
fancy cakes
fudge rounds
christmas tree cakes
zebra cakes
boston creme rolls
devil creme cakes

When you consider the cost and how easy it is to eat them, nothing trumps little debbie IMHO. I once sat and watched my friend Derek eat an entire box of fancy cakes. That's close to 2000 calories, not including the milk he drank. There was LOTS of high quality HFCS and fat in that meal...both of which are great for packing on the pounds.

Yeah, dude but ONE pint of B&J's can easily top 2500...and if you play it right you can get 3000 in a sitting. And mostly fat!

I mean if we're comparing a whole box of cakes to one pint of ice cream...no contest. Cost, I'll concede that Little Debbie is cheaper. Tastes like it too

I'm going to write B&J and ask if they'll produce a turtle moose swiss cake star crunch tracks flavor. Better yet...I think I'll go make some myself in the kitchen right now.
