The Relationship/Dating Thread
its no secret that the bodybuilding life style can be cumbersome, and time consuming. I want to dedicate this thread to social issues with the oposite sex ... more specifically, how to deal with dating/relationship issues and stay on target in your training/life.
I know I've had issues with this in the past, my ex always wanted me to help her lose wt (not that she needed to). but would never take any advice I gave her.
Its also been difficult to meet new people as of late, being a work-a-holic, and trying to get some kind of training done really saps both energy and time. Not to mention diet issues ect.
So how do ya'll deal ... and if you are having issues like this post them up so I dont feel like I'm the only one

Trust me you are not the only one
It is very hard to juggle work, marriage, kids and training but I try to do the best I can. Most of the time I plan the majority of my meals the weekend prior and bring my stuff with me to work. Training is normally 3-4 days per week and I come in early in the morning so I can afford to head to the gym at about 1500 so I can be home by 1630 for the family.
Tough but worth it. Just need to get more sleep and less hassle from the wife. Wish me luck.

I don't train on the weekends, well, not @ night, and it leaves them open for social opps.! As far as during the week, it may interfere. I need to start cooking for the week, rather than for the next 2 days, to save more time!

I just made sure that the girl I would find is already interested in what I like. My fiancé works out a little but is very much into MMA and watches the shows. She knows what it would take if I decided to start fighting. So right there, she would support me and understand why I might come home late or be too tired to do anything. I would just have to make sure to have specific days for her.

Yeah, that's good that y'all see eye-to-eye, CPD. And, it's good that you are consistent in regards to spending time with her. I don't have a GF/fiance, but I'd say, it's more important that each time the 2 of you spend time together is special, rather than spending time together, that is just 'average'. I hope that made sense...I got a little confused typing it!

^^ definately makes sense.
I always tend to date jealous types. Unfortunately that doesnt pertain to just other women, jealous types get jealous over everything that takes you away from them.
I need a stoner chick, someone laid back, relaxed and fun
