Steak=bad?

Default Steak=bad?

I eat a steak and fries at work each night for dinner. I've heard that that much steak can be bad. It's about a 6-8 oz steak, I'd say. At regular weight, I'd say I'm about 220 lbs. Does this steak a day sound bad?

No. I eat much worse.

Is it a lean cut of steak? Either way, you'll be fine. Make sure you're getting plenty of fiber in your diet if it worries you.

It tastes great and is a good source of protein and natural creatine. However, it takes more work to digest and eating too much can cause g.i. problems. I would suggest alternating with chicken.

Oh. I've heard about the uric acid-buildup, or something like that. It's a pretty lean cut.

I dont' think a 6-8oz steak once a day will hurt you. The fries on the other hand... are probably alot worse.

yes....but do you have any variety of your proteins...or is it just beef all day everyday?
