MAX Bench Test day

Man I suck at benching, hit a 2kg PR tho LOL, my form sucked today, I know I can press more than I did today, there is tonnes of strength I waste cos my form sucks.I have an awful habit of pushing the bar towards my gut when I lower it, which puts me in a shitty position to press from.Baaaah so anyways I hit 106kg then 107.5kg on the bar and missed with 110kg.Pretty happy with the strength gain just pissed I couldnt get it together with form.

Max Bench Day 2/6/09
Bench 1x1 97.5kg 106kg (PR) 107.5kg(PR) 1xM 110kg

Not pretty lifts at all but I lowered it and locked it out so it counts bitches!!

Well done Hopper a PR's a PR at the end of the day :)
Nailing the Bench is a Bastard, Im sure it wont be long before you can do those weights with less effort and perfect form.

I think you just have to accept sometimes that when you're doing max testing, your form will probably be ugly. I think its the nature of the beast. Not saying, however, that you should stop practicing form. Form practice definately helps but you can't always keep it together under max load.

Good point Dub, I agree.Still I know I coulda done better and mybe pressed more weight if I had of kept form.

Max squat/Deadlift Test Day

Hit 156kg on the bar Raw today, shit was a tad high, baaahhh I'm pissed cos I fucking smoked it, wish it was deeper. missed 160kg fucker, I know I can smoke that too.Resisted urge to put on suit and saved some juice for deadlifts.Nailed 180kg on the bar after just missing at lockout.I had a very weird uneven lockout tho... hmm strange.

Max Squat/Deadlift Test 4/6/09
Squat Belt and Wraps 1x1 145kg, 156kg (PR) 1xM 160kg
Sumo Deadlift 1x1 160kg 1xM 180kg 1x1 180kg (PR)

Need to get this depth thing fixed, my OCD tendencies will annoy the shit outta me till I do.Happy with the pull especially after maxing on squats.
