ME Bench Day

Had a strange sort of day today, I am running on LOW sleep so that aint helping! But I found it tough to get into the groove of things today, I still managed to hit nearly all my reps but it was very tough, forarms were sore (I have been slack with the icing) I am gonna buy the sleeves Kutt has been telling me to get soon! Anyways I hit 4x2 with 115kg, I missed the 2nd rep on set 3 cos I was not set up correctly and my ass came up. I finished with chain bench and a few rows, kids were not wanting to be in the gym any longer so I didnít do anything else.

ME Bench Day 23/10/11

ME Squat Day

Man I was draggin ass today, didn’t eat that much and just a bit tired from the weekend. Still I managed a great squat workout with chains today. I worked up to a PR of 166.5kg + Chains, then did some doubles to finish, very strong day although I didn’t feel it when warming up I got there in the end. I finished with Flags and RDLs.

ME Squat Day 24/10/11

1x1 157.5kg
1x1 160kg
1x1 166.5kg (PR)

ME Bench Day

Great day today, I benched my old 2rm of 116.5kg for 5 sets across! Very happy with that, I then did a single with 120kg. I moved to chain bench after for sets of 4 I just couldn’t get the 5th rep! and finished with some chins and delt work. Real Good day but my freakin forarms are giving me hell, its really affecting my confidence benching cos it hurts most when I lower the bar the most. I cheated and used 2 thin bandages around each elbow on the last 2 sets, that seemed to help a bit.

Is the pain in your forearms from straining your wrists back while benching? I noticed I tend to do this without realizing ... no pain because of it yet but as the weight builds I could see it potentially being a problem down the road.

ME Squat Day

So I think I left my CNS back at work today cos I just could not get going!! I worked up to 160kg in the squat and it was heavy, I couldn’t get loose or focused so I cut it there, no assistance etc, just a real slow day to forget and move on from.

ME Squat Day

So it was my little mans birthday on Friday so I missed deadlifts this week, I ate too much pizza and cake to gout out and lift at 11pm!! So I just squatted hard on Saturday with the SSB instead, it seems the day off did me good as I hit a couple PRs with relative ease! After squatting I did dumbbell swings and abs. Real good day.

ME Bench Day

I benched an new 2RM today but did it for 3 sets so I guess it aint my 2RM!!, I missed the last rep on the last 2 sets as my ass came up, I reckon I can still get more leg drive I gotta work it out so that my ass stays down. After I hit chain bench and some rows and light delts/upperback. Pretty good day.

ME Bench Day 30/10/11

Pauseed Bench

1xM 120kg (should not have tried it, i missed cos I dropped it too high on the chest)
