Friday Feb 27th/2009

Weight: 186.0 I definately looked/felt leaner all this week and the scale proves it. I think I may have my diet more or less figure now. Running the TCD for 5 days straight is going to be great I think.

Deadlifts
bar x 5
40kg x 5
60kg x 5
80kg x 3
100kg x 5
120kg x 5
130kg x 5
140kg x 5
150kg x 4

My last rep started to fall apart so I abandoned it but overall I'm happy with that.

BB Lunges
bar x 8
65lb x 8
85lb x 8
95lb x 8

Oblique Cable Twisty Thing
40lb x 12
45lb x 12
50lb x 12
55lb x 12

Thougths

This workout was a little pressed for time. I would have done at least one more exercise but no time no time!

Thoughts

Well last night I went to bed at a reasonable hour but for some reason woke up at about 4:30am and couldn't really get to sleep after that. On a good note, I signed a contact with a consulting firm for some casual work with the potential to go permanent if the work is there. Thank god!

225lb x 8

Saturday April 4th/2009

Flat BB Bench
bar x 12
135lb 2x6
165lb x 10
175lb x 10
185lb x 10

I surprised myself and made a pretty good increase from last time. I haven't benched in a month.

HS Lat Pull Down
1 45 plate each side
3x15

There is still some pain when reaching straight over my head so I used this as more of a stretching exercise.

Incline DB Press
35lb x 10
45lb x 10
55lb x 9,8
45lb x 10

I can do the press part fine but when I squeeze together I get pain... so I just left that part of the motion out.

Standing EZ Curl Bar
40lb x 10
60lb x 10
70lb x 8
50lb x 13

Assuming the bar is 20lb those are the figures.

Thoughts

Shoulder still has some issues but generally improving.

Well if you haven't noticed, I haven't been around for the last. I've been laboring as a farm hand. Its in the middle of nowhere with no real way to get to the gym but its very physical work so I'm not totally doing nothing. I'll be there for another week and then I'm moving to start a new job somewhere else. I guess I'll get back on the weights bandwagon in a week after this unplanned deload of sorts.

You must have been pretty depleted after this workout. How's the dieting going?

Hell yeah I was! My quads are pretty tight this morning and my traps too. Tight in a good way though.

The diet is going alright. I think I may be bouncing around but I'm generally trending down....slowly....really slowly.... lol I'll see wlhere I'm at at the end of this week then I'll have a pretty good idea.
