Try some probiotics. Dannon Activia is a good option if you don't want to do the pills. I think that might help some.

Pity, after looking at the vid I think you solved the problem. Congrats.

I think your butt should drop down and your back should be a bit more upright. When I deadlift I'm squatted parallel/couple inches below and my back is roughly 30-40 degrees (estimate). But maybe my form is wrong...

i dunno...that's where i was...and eric said to stick my butt up in the air more...it feels better this way than it did...the movement is a lot smoother for me...

i think i had on the ole arch enemy - anthems of rebellion yesterday

and my back is not happy today with being rounded in the first couple reps of my first set yesterday

My form tends to be more in line with what Kane described. Not sure what's right, but good job either way.

Nice tunes

Actually I watched the vid yesterday and I thought you had changed positions somewhat. Go back over the points I made and keep them in mind.

Where is that last vid? I'll look....

Ok, yeah, there is like the slightest little difference but the problem is more in positioning. I think you need to get your shins closer to the bar. They can be right up against it or just a smidgeon away. Just remember the key points I gave you before. You should be fine.

It won't do you any good to abitrarily drop you butt and try to adhere to a certain back angle. This is just one of the two problems people have...1. stiff legging it and 2. "squatting" it with their butt way down low and back up right. The proper position will be somewhere in the middle and how to find that position is based on some simple guidelines.

If you act sanctimonious I will just list out your logical fallacies until you get pissed off and spew blasphemous remarks.

For me, I don't adhere to a specific angle. I just dropped down to my usual starting position and guessed the angle just so everyone could picture it.

Where are those guidelines posted? I don't think my form is off much (I'm definitely not doing a hack squat ) but I would like to double check

Oh, I know. I didn't mean that your were saying that there was a certain angle. It's only that people DO look at other people's angles and try to emulate them and that is a big problem...because if the geometry doesn't fit, blah blah...

The "guidelines" for what they are worth, are somewhere in Pity's journal. I'll have to look...
