Sunday workout

270 push ups
super setted the last 3 sets with wristrollers.

4x15 neck harness. 2 sets front 2 sets back

did a little bit of calf raises and good morning squats with these 50 pound dumbells i have at home.

thoughts

i wanted to d more pushups but supersetting those wrost rollers with the pushups got me tired. i wanted to try for 300 but i will try it next time. i did the good morning squats and calf raises with the dumbells becaus ei cant get to the gym unitl wed so i figured i will do a little something until then. i will weight myself at the end of next week to see hwo much i have lost so far

legs

my workout was all over the place today. i only have 2 days to workout so i was trying to see where i can work in some deadlifts. my dead lift numbers are horrible. my deads have suffered the most from the reactive arthritis with my legs being a close second. my deadlift numbers are depressing. im getting ready to tailor my work work outs to do a lot of squating and deadlifting. i am no where near satisfied with my numbers at all and i will be damned if i let them stay even close to where they are

ab wheel- 3x10
captains chair- 3x15
squats- 5x5 @ 315 with no more than a minute rest
shoulder presses 4x5 @ 205
dead lifts---i was tempering with weight ranging from 135 and up. i was doign 225 for reps. i did like 3 at 315. i tried 415 and i couldnt do it.

calf raises 3x10 @ 315
seate calf raises 3x15

thoughts

dont feel the burn like i do when i do the 10x10 squats but i know i dont have enoguth time to recover between now and monday. i wil start to change my leg workout so i can get in goodmornings, around 5x10 squats and a good amount of deads. i hate my dead numbers and i am not taking it easy until i get my numbers up

what up everybody. i have been working out the past feww weeks but it hasnt been anything etched in stone. trying to make a good routine that will help me drop weight. lifting 5x5 doesnt really do anythign for me. i dont feel sore, or tired after the fact. the best thign that worked for me has always been doing a good amount of reps, and pyramids. so im trygin to put together a good routine that i will be able ot mix with the BJJ i will be getting into. so ill be posting again soon, i just want to make sure i have a good workout in place instead of just psting crap

I know this is a little out-dated lol (didn't even know you had a journal Monsta), but unless you're doing some sort of dynamic and max effort setup (or a similar setup) I wouldn't do deadlifts twice a week.

what up. still trying to figure out where and when i will do what but im gonna start posting workouts so you guys can rip it apart and give your suggestions.

ab wheel 3x12
squats 5x5 @ 315
inverted shrugs 3x10 @135 ----- i guess you call it that but i dont know. you hold the barbell over your head with a snatch grip and you shrug it.

deadlift into a clean and press 3x3 @ 205
shrugs 3x10 @90
squat goodmornings 5x5 @225
calf raises standing and seated

THOUGHTS

next week i will go up 20 pounds on squat i did the whole things with out to much trouble and thats without doing them to often for a while, so i will increase the weight and see what happens.

i tried the inverted shrugs for the first time last week and it had my delts sore, so i figured it was something new so i will try it for a little while.

i left the clean and pushes at 3x3 because i plan on doing that stuff as often as possible, and since i did those squats i was kinf of tired and i did not want to compromise form just to push more weight. i am still trying to make the clean from the ground as fluint as the push.

i will post some videos so you guys can critique my form with some exercises. i feel a sthough i am doing everything right because i go out of my way every rep to make sure i am, but there it is always good to get another persons opinion. i just have to remember my camera and see if i can get someone at the gym to record for me.
