Flat bench press - 2X8 185
CG bench press - 1X12 135
Standing Arnolds (30lbs) SS w/ BW Dips - 3X8
Push ups - 3X10
OH press - 1X15 w/ squat bar (55lbs)
My AC joint is still aggravated. It felt good to do some high rep work...I just repped 185 out until the shoulder bothered me which happened to land on eight reps both times. I probably won't do flat bench for a while. Shoulder felt...healthy today until I went to the gym. I don't think I had any discomfort whatsoever which is a first during the past 4-5 weeks. Surprisingly it feels good right now after having gone to the gym also.

Box squats - 2X5 225, 245
Free squats - 1X4 275, 1X3 305
Front squats - 3X5 135, 155, 175
Narrow stance squats - 3X10-14 135
Standing calve raises (BW) - 3 RP sets
I'm still half asleep. Squats were good. It was early & I didn't have much of a spotter. I guess I'll just keep going heavy until a specific weak point shows up. I didn't have one today.

No heavy pulling for me today. I'll do a DE leg day next and then pull something heavy next time around.

Ok....so apparently I didn't post my last workout. I may have missed a pull workout a week or so ago also.
Incline bench - 4X5 155, 165, 165, 175
Standing military - 2X5 95, 115, 2X3 125, 135
Dips SS w/ push ups - 3X10 of each
Just wanted to try things out with military press...felt good & light.

Sumo DL - 2X5 135, 205, 1X3 225, 2X3 245, 2X2 275, 1X1 325, 1X1 355, 1X1 385 (failed)
DB rows - 3X5 85
Lat pulls - none because my shoulder told me not to
DB curls SS w/ BB curls
Ok, so I went contrary to Eric's advice. I had every intention of keeping things light, but everything was going very well. I had some of the powerlifters and personal trainers and other smart people standing around critiquing me when I was lifting...or watching, rather. Apparently I have the perfect build for sumo deads. We decided because of my early sets that it would be good to see what I could do. I had great form according to them and it felt good. I pulled 275 so fast that the weight bounced on the bar... 325 was very fast. 355 was medium speed. 385 was hard on my hips. I couldn't pull it & the limiting factor was my hips. Now I know where I stand. I guess I'll be adding in sumos from now on. Minus the hips, I should be able to easily pull +400. I'm more interested in PL anyway. I guess I'll do both styles.
