Ross ..... I just found your journal and read the majority of the first page.
Just out of curiousity .... from the 7th of September you were 163lbs. What is your current weight? Just curious because on the last 2 pages of this thread I saw all of the other information that you started the journal with except for your weight.

I'm a little over 170 right now...probably 173. I just finished a mini recomp. I was up to 180, but I hurt my back a few months ago and lost a good bit of weight. This is my first real bulking phase since then. My goal is to get up to around 200 or so before doing a serious cutting phase. I think that will be very achievable. Last summer around this time, I was 130lbs.
Thanks for reading

Haha thanks. I wish I could continue to gain like that. It's coming, but much slower now. Back when I was young and in good shape (15 & 16 y/o), I weighed 128-130, benched 200, squatted & deadlifted 285, and cleaned 175...I was probably around 5 or 6% BF. I was doing the 1600m in a little over 5 minutes and my 5k times were under 19 minutes without training for cross country. Ah, to be young again. The ruptured disc held me up for a while. I'm stronger than ever now and still progressing. My motivation right now is the thought of where I'll be in two or three years if I stay committed to it. It's what I've been thinking about for the past few weeks when I feel like crap and I'm getting ready to start a heavy set in the gym.

Rows - 125 X 8, 6, 5
DB Rows - 55 X 14, 12, 10
Pull downs - 130 X 12, 8, 6
Curls - 55 X 18, 12, 11, 10
Linear progression, what? Yeah, I'm going to go get a watch (stop watch) after work this evening. Then I'm going to write all of my workouts down in a paper journal. Then I'm going to start taking it to the gym with me. Then I'm going to start having a standardized workout that will allow me to follow a linear progression. Then I am going to follow that linear progression and quit dicking around.
