Cool
Monsta, I'd like to but I can't afford to take time off. I can't really afford to get hurt worse either. I have about 4 weeks before the competition. Getting sick this week already has set me back some. I wish I needed a deload because now would be the perfect time for it. I'm definitely taking your advice on the eating part though

I hope you take the week off before the comp. It will help you.

There are...8 people in the main group that I train with and I think 5 or 6 of them are competing in February. I'm not sure that I'll still be here training with them when the meet rolls around because I might have to move to get a job. Either way, I'll be in touch with them & I'll be doing the same workouts. We should all be peaking for the meet, which is great for me since I have no idea what that entails.

Be careful man. Don't let your heart get in the way of your head. I know you *want* to lift big weight real bad (who doesn't?!) but getting seriously injured will set you way back.

Box squats - 145X5, 185X3, 235X2, 235X2, 285X2, 305X1
Free squats w/ wraps - 325X1, 325X2
I didn't go really heavy today. I had some good box squats. Then I got a little practice in wraps.

Incline press (axle bar) - 100X5, 150X5, 180X3, 180X3, 200X2, 200X2, 210X1
Dips (BW + 58lbs) - 3, 5
Cable rows - 2X10 130
Kind of an off night. I still managed to have a decent workout. It was dynamic day, so I didn't load up on volume to compensate.

How did the squats feel on the back? Good luck with the competition prep.
