Most of the studies done regarding ECDY have been with Rhaponticum carthamoides and it seems that those who use ECDY derived from Cyantois Vaga are less likely to respond. Anagen and 95% of all the ECDY based products use Cyantois Vaga

Chuck Rudolph in his interview believes that plant origin is not a factor, however some interesting points were raised by Trouble @ M&M.

Right now I am taking 167mg 5x a day. Anagen is going to be priced at $24 which should last a 180-190lb male a month.

Syntrax Syntra EC is going for $25 dollars right now, you can mix it with legal gear’s gel and even apply it transdermaly. But as of now I am getting excellent results and see no reason to complicate it.

I'm confused Slayer. What brand are you using? Rhaponticum Carthomoides (Russian Maral Root/Leuzea/Russian Leuzea/Leuzea Carthomoides) is hugely expensive as far as I know. The amount of raw material needed to extract meaningful amounts of Ecdy on a large scale would be staggering in terms of cost, unless something has changed.

Perhaps Cyantois Vaga is cheaper, hence the general usage.

P.S. Oh, I see, you meant you were using Anagen. When you say 167 mgs a day that means 167 mgs of actual Ecdy? I see it has Rhodiola Rosea and something else.

Anagen uses Cyantois Vaga. You are correct, Rhaponticum Carthomoides are very expensive. There is some debate regarding plant origin and its effectiveness, however I am responding very well to this extract and am satisfied with my overall progress.

One table contains 167mgs, I consume 5 spread throughout the day (ECDY has a very short half life)

Rhodiola Rosea (3% rosavins and 1% salidrosides) 100mg
Baccopa Monniera (20:1) 50mg

Training
Mediocre workout today. I am still not feeling 100%, I have been sick for the past week. Weights fell by 10lbs on almost every single exercise. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow.
